Making a Difference

Organizational Consulting

"I am not a consultant—I am a capacity builders who helps community-centered organizations move from intention to impact." - Virginia

Meet Virginia: The Artful Anchor - “Creating joy, holding steady.”

With over 25 years of experience and having secured more than $100 million for community initiatives since 2004.  Virginia brings unmatched insight into the intersection of fundraising, public policy, and social justice.

Virginia radiates a beautiful mix of perseverance, empathy, and creativity — the kind of person who makes things happen while making others feel truly seen. She is a doer with heart. Whether she is creating artful experiences, or connection,  her strengths come together to build something both meaningful and fun.

                              -Kathy Snyder, Director of Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition

Strengths:

• Persistence (Courage): She keeps things going when things get tough. Her drive to finish what she has started makes her a pillar for others, especially in times of uncertainty or stress.

• Empathy (Humanity): She feels with people, not just for them. This lets her connect deeply and intuitively, making others feel heard and valued.

• Creativity (Wisdom): As an artist and creator, she infuses originality and fun into everything she touches, transforming even everyday moments into something special.

• Vitality (Courage): She brings energy and excitement — her “fun” isn’t just entertainment, it’s a strategy for thriving.

• Kindness (Humanity): It’s not just what she does, it’s how she does it  — with care, generosity, and warmth.

When Struggles Show Up: Virginia Helps You Leverage Your Strengths

Struggle doesn’t mean weakness — it’s just a signal that you’re stretching, growing, or carrying something heavy. In those moments:

• Let your persistence remind you you’ve overcome hard things before — and you’ll do it again.

• Channel your creativity to find a fresh path forward.

• Use your empathy to connect — either with yourself through self-compassion or with someone who can sit beside you.

• Turn to your artful side to express, release, or even play your way through challenge.

Why It Matters:

Your strengths are more than traits — they’re tools. In a community focused on thriving and “struggling well,” you’re a beacon of what it means to build joy and resilience with purpose. Keep creating. Keep showing up. And when things get messy, don’t forget: your superpowers are already within you.

"What’s one small, creative act of kindness you can do for yourself today?"

Our Approach & Theoretical Framework: Evidence-Based NLP for Transformational Leadership

At the heart of our consultancy is a commitment to methods that deliver measurable, lasting change. Our use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is grounded in evidence—not hype. A key academic study from the University of Leicester, “Neurolinguistic Programming: The Solution to Leadership Behaviour Change,” validates NLP as a powerful tool for developing leadership capacity. Unlike traditional training models, this research highlights how NLP drives authentic behavioral change through structured self-assessment and peer feedback, making leadership growth both visible and trackable.

 NLP provides powerful tools for understanding how language and perception influence behavior, enabling leaders to build stronger rapport, resolve conflicts more effectively, and foster inclusive, solution-oriented environments. By applying NLP techniques such as reframing, sensory acuity, and representational systems, I support clients in aligning their internal strategies with their external goals, ultimately promoting more adaptive, empathetic, and empowered community leadership.

We leverage these insights to help organizations and their leaders unlock deeper self-awareness, elevate communication, and lead with intentional impact. By anchoring our work in proven methodology, we empower our clients to drive transformation—not just within their teams, but across the communities they serve. NLP isn’t just part of what we do—it’s a strategic, research-backed catalyst for real-world leadership success.

Our Transparent Revenue Model:

  • Retainer-based consulting contracts;
  • Project-specific engagements;
  • Capacity-building workshop series; and/or
  • Grant-funded technical assistance partnerships.
