Though SEED Miami opened in 2014, Virginia and her sister Melanie began laying the groundwork in 2004.

As stewards of the future, preserving and conservation are integral roles of community leaders.

Virginia comes from 5 generations of historical preservationists, and continue to work on "very special projects" as a licensed dwelling contractor.

Virginia and her husband Brett began their careers as Peace Corps Volunteers in Niger, West Africa.
